Bulk deionized water (di water) that is produced on-site at the Go Glycol Pros facility to ensure quality and purity.
Deionization is a process designed to remove impurities from water that will be used in heat transfer systems as part of the glycol water antifreeze mix. It does this by extracting corrosive ions and scale promoters.
The result of this process is a di water that meets the purity standards to maintain peak system performance when paired with equally pure inhibited glycol heat transfer fluid such as DOWFROST, DOWFROST HD or DOWTHERM SR-1.
Dow® recommends the use of good quality water, such as deionized water, for dilution purposes in glycol and water mixtures.
