25%-100% DOWTHERM™ SR-1 ethylene glycol heat transfer fluid includes a specially designed package of industrial corrosion inhibitors.
Solutions have an operating temperature range of -60° F to 250° F (-51° C to 121° C), and the glycol fluid is dyed fluorescent pink to aid in leak detection.
Dow® ethylene glycol-based fluids are less viscous than propylene glycols. Therefore, they generally provide superior heat transfer efficiency and better low temperature performance. However, in applications where toxicity is a concern, propylene glycols are preferred.
The 275 gallon caged IBC tote has a 2 NPT (national pipe thread) screwable valve. Also known as an intermediate bulk container (or simply as a tote or IBC tank). This industrial glycol container holds the same capacity as five 55 gallon drums in less space, making storage easy.
This design ensures secure storage and handling. The bottle (container) is made of FDA approved virgin resin, appropriate for food use. Our 275 gallon tote features a 6 top cap with a 2 NPS plug in the middle and 4 HDPE corner protectors. For more product specifications, click here.
