Overview

25%-100% DOWCAL™ 200 propylene glycol heat transfer fluid includes a specially designed package of industrial corrosion inhibitors.

DOWCAL™ 200 delivers excellent corrosion protection, especially for aluminum applications, while remaining compatible with commonly used elastomers, making it suitable for use in systems utilizing Flygt pumps. It features low acute oral toxicity, strong hard water stability for use with local tap water, and a long fluid service life to help reduce maintenance costs. For optimal corrosion protection, a minimum 30% concentration is recommended.

Solutions have an operating temperature range of -58° F to 347° F (-50° C to 175° C).

In applications where toxicity is a concern, propylene glycol fluids are used because of their low acute oral toxicity vs. the moderate acute oral toxicity of ethylene glycols.
